Aqua Clara to acquire BEVsystems International
Tampa Bay Business Journal
Aqua Clara Bottling & Distribution in Clearwater announced Monday it signed a definitive-binding agreement to acquire BEVsystems International Ltd. in Miami, a private corporation.
Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed. However, Aqua Clara stated in a media release that as part of the agreement subject to shareholder approval, Aqua Clara will complete a one-for-10 reverse stock split of its common stock.
The company also will ask shareholders to approve a resolution to rename the company BEVsystems International Inc. and trade under a new stock symbol.
This transaction will give Aqua Clara the leverage of BEVsystems' internationally-distributed bottled water brand, Life O2, and the proprietary Life O2 SuperOxygenation process. Aqua Clara will also acquire technology with 25 patents issued in the United States and foreign countries.
Aqua Clara's stock is traded on the OTC Bulletin Board under AQCB. It closed Friday at .91 cents. Its 52-week range is .51 cents to 21 cents.
